The place that I will be conducting my internship is a middle school called M.S.88. The school is in Brooklyn and is a public company since it’s a school. Its not your typical place for an internship if you want to grow in the graphic design field, I am fully aware of that but I have been presented with a unique opportunity. The man who is currently in charge of doing all the graphic designing for the school will be retiring and the end the year so I am shadowing him learning the way things work in the school and what designing for the school entails. The company doesn’t really have clients to my understanding but I am going to try to get them to work with some outside organizations to help create content for them. I have already pitched this idea to them and they love it. Beautification of the schools is primarily the main object of the position.
