So, my internship turned from and unpaid internship to a paid one not because of my graphic arts background but because of my technology background. I was able to fix most of the tech for the school the desktops, laptops, iPads, chrome books, projectors and many more items. The school was lacking a tech person because the person who was in charge before Patrick move upstate and the position was vacant. So I spent the week running around filling out paper work going to 65 court street which on of the head quarters for the Department of Education get what I needed to done. My current title at the school now is a Community Associate and I am getting paid $36,000 for the year. I am still doing the graphics for the school half the day and managing the technology the other half. My days also have extended from 2:30 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. But with the new position comes a new office which is really big and it has its own bathroom.
