The presentation was on the uses for gathering data. To be honest, I was pretty confused on what she was explaining, but as she continued, she had different maps and diagrams explaining the functions and the relations to one another, and that was what struck me. Each of her slides showed data that has different variables that might affect the outcome. I still remember that one her slide showed the countries that had the most nature, represented by the shade of the color. Deeper the color the more greenery the countries have and the fainter the color the less greenery the countries have. Then, the same countries were mapped but the data collected was of the air condition. From the looks of it, I saw that the amount of greenery in the countries had an effect on the air condition. The more greenery equaled better air condition, less greenery equaled worse air condition. So, like this the people studying data can come to many conclusions.
