Weekly Reflection 10/13

  1. The central purpose of the world central kitchen is to create solutions to solve hunger and poverty problems.
  2. The three communities are Haiti, Guatemala, and Costa Rica. 
  3. These communities are being served because they were hit with a hurricane that hurt the island and the food source that these people live on.
  4. The three education initiatives of the World Central Kitchen are the Sink to Stove program, École des Chefs is a culinary school in Port-au-Prince, and the Chef Relief Training program.
  5. I think that World Central Kitchen puts effort into education to educate the people on how to safely eat food without getting sick from contamination but also to improve their diets.
