She talked to us about the process of what products are put in display. For example, any new movies released, depending on their performance they plan to release a lot of merch. She discussed how the data they receive isn’t always accurate including the surveys we receive at the end of each park day. Since there are a lot of guests who don’t complete the survey they rely on what they get. They break down the data by age group and decide what will catch the attention of guests. They even have surveys based on what princess is getting the most attention. They discuss with Disney World about what their research as well so it isn’t just every park working alone. She even mentioned how the merch released from The Guardians of the Galaxy is difficult due to the companies. (Unfortunately, I didn’t hear Tangled will get any sort of ride even though Japan is coming up with something for her)

This, however, will require a lot of work and dedication on your behalf. Because of the unique advantages that can only be learned from your participation as a student in the Walt Disney World College Program the faculty of the hospitality management department encourage you to take full advantage of all the opportunities the program offers. In order to do this, you will be enrolled at New York City College of Technology, CUNY for a total of 12 credit hours. These credits will be earned by successfully completing the requirements listed in this syllabus.
