I was working double shifts throughout the week, so I could see the change from morning to night shifts. My first shift was at 8 am and I saw the lines every station had. I was put in market stocker 2 which is restocking the outside. I helped market stocker 1 by bringing in some drinks we did not have since deliveries were still bringing in new items. I was put in mobile and as I remembered my morning training many receipts were still printing. We had to call out how many waffles we needed which slowed us down since we had two other stations waiting for waffles. We were able to complete our orders once the changeover occurred. It was difficult to communicate with the morning crew however I showed I was communicating by what I had gotten for every order and asked them questions when I needed to.

I did double shifts at my home location and when I clocked in for the afternoon shift, I noticed the difference in the guests we were getting—those who had gone to the parks and wanted something quick to eat. I also saw how the morning crew did not communicate with each other while the night crew did. Someone said we communicate because we are a tight-knit group and want to make sure we do our parts. We took care of the lines, and we notified each other when leaving the station to complete a task even if it was a small task of two minutes.Â
