For this week, they only had me on the positions that I have been trained on. They gave me an opportunity to still obverse the other stations. to have an idea of what I’m supposed to do on the station. The Sous chefs taught us the safety procedures for the passing of hurricane Helene. Even though it hadn’t hit Orlando directly. They taught me the clearly marked exits, smoke detectors, sprinklers, and evacuation plans. Disney emphasizes constant updates and training to maintain its high safety standards for us and for the guests. During the day of the hurricane, it was pouring rain and very windy, but I was still able to get to work on time. On Wednesday, I made a mistake of making one of the orders. Then the sous chef taught me the right way to do it step by step. From that I learned that there are a lot of ways people make the dish, but you are the only one that can find the way that best suits you. I think this is why they set me up with a different trainer each day. So, I can create a way that can be efficient and fast for me
