Week after Training

Working in Aloha Isle and Churros / Mickey Pretzels

One week of training had finally concluded. At first, I got quite comfortable with the training. But now it was time to put that to the test. When I first started, everything felt like brand new. I was clueless on what needs to be done despite everything learned from the training.
But I was able to quickly pick myself back up, focused and ask questions to my fellow cast members and the coordinators, about the things that needs to be done within that certain role. I also observed them on how they do it and soon enough, I was fine doing it on my own. One problem was the other day where I was working at Aloha Isle. Most of the soft serve machines were breaking down by not being able to release a proper consistency and the flavor swirls were not working so we had to improvise by stacking the two flavors on top. As well as dealing with a huge crowd of guests. It was quite an overwhelming day of running back and forth but we were able to get through it because we had a great teamwork and also with the help of maintenance and coordinators who were present to help and fix the machines. I was also assigned at the churro and Mickey pretzel carts which was quite simple because it was just about filling orders. I was also in charge of calling the cook and the runner, giving them product updates, and requesting for more whenever necessary.
