Welcome to the “Writing a Recipe for Hospitality Leadership” First Year Learning Community (FYLC) bringing together Prof. Goodlad’s HMGT 1101, Prof. Stewart’s HMGT 1102, and Prof. Rosen’s ENG 1101. Both HMGT 1101 and ENG 1101 will use this site throughout the semester, with HMGT 1102 using Blackboard. Please take some time to explore this OpenLab course site. Use the menu to explore the course information, course activities, FYLC information, and resources. As the course progresses, this site will develop further, and you will add your own work to the Student Work section.

You can’t change your username once you create your account, but you can change your display name, avatar, and any content in your profile.

Questions

If you have any questions, reach out to any of the three professors via email or in Student Support Hours (also called Office Hours).
