I just read an article about the Total Solar Eclipse we are going to experience later this year on August 21st. It is truly a fascinating read.
Are you guys excited about the solar eclipse as I am? It will be really great to see this rare phenomenon.

I think that eclipses are great, I love events or situations that have to deal with the sky and such. I think it is simply amazing and can’t wait for that date, and hopefully, I won’t forget and I won’t miss it. I am a big fan of such occasions and their rarity. I would love to see this event and celebrate, I would also like to know how looking directly at the eclipse would be more damaging than looking regularly at the sun, which is still a big no to do, but the eclipse is more damaging, and I would like to know why. I would also like to know how special eclipse glasses work to protect the eyes and who tested them?
I will do my best to get a telescope for this summer, so I can experience this events even better. My astronomy class have me mind-blowing . Hopefully, I don’t miss it.
What a good way to end the summer vibes with an Solar Eclipse.
I love eclipses and all other astronomy-related phenomena as it shows us that there are amazing and extraordinary events that are taking place beyond our own atmosphere. It leaves you with a sense of awe and amazement. These are things that we can all be in agreement in and acknowledge how rare and beautiful these moments truly are.
I’m not going to pretend I understand the logistics when it comes eclipses but this article blew my mind. Did know so much went into eclipses and I never thought about how eclipses affect the atmosphere. I definitely will be keeping up with this, it sucks that I won’t be in country during the eclipse.
Interesting article indeed! I have always enjoyed reading about fascinating events dealing with the sun/moon. In late 2016, I recall reading about the ‘super moon’. This is when the moon is the brightest. Although the bright moon occurs yearly, the one in 2016 was extraordinary because it was very close to the moon, making it appear both brighter and larger! Based on that knowledge, I understand that each event regarding the moon is different, making it even more special.
Getting back to the article, I hope I will remember to look out for this total solar eclipse in August. That being said, I hope everyone within the range of the event is able to catch a glimpse.
I agree with everyone’s comments and I am as exciting as you all are. Everyone in the comments is just like I hope I remember to see it, but I know that I will forget to see it, but to talk about the article it is fascinating. I think we need to know everything possible about the earth that we are living on. I always try to see something which is this fascinating but I end up forgetting, sleeping or waking up late. I liked the article and Thank You for sharing it with all of us.

I have never seen a total solar eclipse. After reading this article I think it’s super cool how a solar eclipse happens. I can’t wait to see one in person if I have the oppertunity in the future.
