This image was taken with a side light on a black background. Half of her face lurks in the shadows while the other half is seen in the light. This light creates a mysterious feeling. This is a close up portrait shot.

Learning Log:Light

This is my favorite Photograph. The light shines from the top right corner to produce this dramatic effect. The top flower is overwhelmed in light while the bottom one is submerged in darkness. This Photo is a close up, which portrays a different aspect the actual image of the flower. The pedals of the top flower look promising as though they’re blooming on a happy summer day.

This photograph stood out to be because of the unique perspective from which it was taken. The quarter is slightly out of focus and very close the to camera lens. From this perspective the quarter seems larger than his head.

This is my best photograph of Tenzin with side-light. The emotion he shows is dramatic that makes it seem that he’s looking of into the distance. This is shot as a close up and can see the key tirangle

Portrait Lighting for Mood

For this photograph we use two main light on the both side of Ivan as it shows high key, and I took the photograph from a high point of view with a wide angle distortion which came to fruition with the help of a desk and getting very close to the subject which was Ivan. Ivan expression was confusion mixed with joy as he shows us his quarter that Scott told him to bring closer to the camera as it will be an interesting shot, as it was.

Single best photo

The mood of this photo is very happy which is what makes it work well. The lighting used was key light, fill light and background light. Out of the pictures I took today I think this photograph captured the mood best.

In this photograph it uses three different types of light, which would be fill light, key light, and back light. In the fill light it show soft shadows all around her. In the key light you can see the triangle under her left eye. In the back light, you can see a small glow behind her.

Best Portrait 2 – Chris

15757233606_0949b2d21d_oThis is a glamor shot taken with soft light. It portrays the subject’s features in a flattering way due to its exposure.
