• During my research I learned about the visa process, the requirements needed in order to apply. All though one may have all the requirements it does not mean they will be approved for the visa. I was also able to learn about the Florez agreement, in which it explained why many kids would go missing. The Flores agreement is an agreement where there is a limit of how much time a child could be detained at the border. Although the agreement does protect children from being detained a long period of time after being released there is no protection for them. If the mother is not released before the child is released the child is on its own. In today’s society the people tend to blame the government for separating children from their parents in where it causes children to go missing, but don’t take into consideration the government is not the only one to blame.
