Pillbugs are commonly found in backyard inhabitants around the world. They are called Pillbugs because they can roll into a ball like a old-fashioned pill. The sowbug is a close relative. The pillbug is similar to the sowbug but they can be a little be flatter and it can’t roll up. Pillbugs are actually  crustaceans like crabs and lobster. Pillbugs breathe through their gills their gills are very thin and located underside of their body. they share alot of similarities with snowbugs their body is very similar and the things they require to live and pillbugs have to live in moist areas because their gills need moist to function properly.
