There are multiple interesting point that stood out me in “HOW TO READ LIKE A WRITER”. What i found interesting was the how the author broke down the process of reading and writing well, For example ” As I struggled to read in this environment, I began to realize that the way I was reading—one word at a time—was exactly the same way that the author had written the text.” I loved the fact that i can relate to this quote, Because i used to struggle with everyday reading but then i started read thing slowly and breaking them down sound by sound which really helped me in everyday life styles.I found out that if you take the time to break it down it is every easy to read like a writer. When reading how to read like a writer there were many key points. One key point that stuck out to me was “How affective is the language the authors use? Is it too formal? Two informal? Perfectly appropriate?” I felt like this was very important because when i am reading i tend to struggle with the language being used in the article or book. Sometimes when reading authors work i don’t really get to understand what the book is about or passage because i have spent most of my time struggling with the language. Something that i have been trying to do when i am reading or writing i have started to google the word and saying it four times and use it in a sentence or even ask someone around me to help with the word. I have learned that i am a really strong reader when i van best understand the authors language.  AYNIAH R.
