The poisonous snake in the world is not the coral snake its the sea snake. Its estimated the venom of a sea snake is fifty times more powerful than the king cobra. Sea snakes do not inject venom if they bite. nobody is sure why. The poison effect is slow but fatal 25% of the time. Fishermen are likely to be victims because they either step on them or pick them up carelessly.
