Lab 3 – Perspective

Jessenia N. ~ Perspective 1

Jessenia’s photo had really strong perspective through the use of depth of field and angle. Although it was not advised to photograph cars, these feel like a fantastic alternative as they all variate in color, shape, and size. The depth of field plays into the perspective by being deep near the right of the image and shallow towards the left. The angle also serves the perspective by being low enough to capture the subjects but not low enough to have one overpower the others.

Perspective

Oneil’s photo captures perspective from this tall building giving us a sense of diminishing scale as we look up at the building. It draws us in leading our eyes to the top of the building and ultimately the open sky above it.

Lab 3: Perspective

Rany’s perspective photo

Rany creates a sense of depth and perspective here by focusing on a group of pipes that hug a building wall while the wall extends beyond the focal point. There are leading lines ingrained in the bricks of the wall that take your eyes deeper into the photo. The crosswalk and cars beyond the building create an even further sense of perspective.
