Your overall exposure is so much better than last week.
But none of these have fill light. Last week we shot with one light, the main light which casts the shadows. This week, we added the fill light which brightens the shadows.
Also, split light is correct. Broad and short light are for when the head is in a 3/4 view. For your example of front and Rembrandt light, the light is too low. It is casting the nose shadow up and over the model’s face.
