I did my best to get this effect by putting a high-beam bike light behind a diffuser. This helped me get the background lighting. For the second light, I used an LED Video light and diffused it with 3 sheets of printer paper. I then angled the light to be really close to the top of the subject but without having any light bleed or any direct indication of where the light is coming from.
