For motion blur to be effective, only the person in motion should be blurry. the background should be sharp. You have to keep the camera even if it is a cameraphone still. this means using a tripod for a cameraphone or propping it up securely so it doesn’t move. If you don’t want to invest in a tripod, try one of these:
I think the cup is the best.
You can take the picture with the volume control on your earbuds.
The assignment did ask for two photos, a first attempt and a second attempt after some input from me.
