Juxtaposition

For this exercise, I chose two apples, one with an older and punctured surface, the other with a more smooth and fresh surface. I started off taking a photograph of the two apples next to each other, trying to show how one apple’s skin is uneven, yet the other one is smooth. It looked like there was just two apples sitting next to one another so I tried to move the apples where the light was facing more towards the surface with the differences. I also tried to place the apples where both were about the same color, which ended up being red. Eventually, I finalized on a more close-up shot to focus on the juxtaposition between the textures so the viewer would hopefully notice how different they appear.

You picked a good juxtaposition but you could have gotten more variety in your shots. these two are pretty similar just a little tighter.
