Hands – Jonathan B

In Oneil’s photo, I was intrigued by the use of red lighting and the diagonal direction of the subject. It brought upon the feeling of mystery and curiosity that kept me wanting to know more. I tried to use red light and mix different perspectives of the subject facing a similar direction.

In Jamir’s photo, I was focused on the light direction and the shadow projecting from the hand. I thought that the multiple sources of light from the top helped create different but unique shadows. I tried to use a light source that would help get similar results.

Great work. In both, you were paying attention to the light as well as the gesture. This sensitivity to the light will serve you well.
