Optical vs Digital Shallow Depth of Field

For this exercise, I used the PicsArt app. I found that I can choose the focus point but and some objects are hard to have a nice focus point like the flower. But I like how can I manipulate the focus.

    I am not familiar with that app but be careful with it. In the case of the dup photo, it has made a mistake and made part of the cup blurry though it is all the same distance from the camera and it should be sharp with the background being out of focus.
