"Game On, Python!"

Pitch – Akash Patel

The game I will create is based on a man whose name is Robin. One man who always thinks of others in need of people to help. The motive behind creating this game is to let people not think only for themselves but think for others’ emotions and the difficulties they are facing as well. I believe as time passes this will completely change the perspective of a person towards others. As I was thinking about it, I found out that every individual who is in this world needs to hear it urgently. Because as a matter of fact, it might make a huge difference in world humanity which will take through the next generation.

Summary: It’s a story of a person who understands the situation others are going through. Robin Hood who wasted his whole life trying to find satisfaction. As the days were passing he found a girl on a road who was begging for the money. Robin Hood got extremely shocked because she lives in his neighborhood. Robin was not getting why she is begging until her parents did suicide and leave a letter for Robin. When Robin read the letter he was dismayed because he found out that she has a brain tumor. Robin takes her to the hospital and tells the doctor to do her treatment. The doctor said it’s very expensive. Robin was thinking about how I would arrange this amount. He went to his dad and said give me all the money you have in your bank. His dad didn’t say anything because his dad knew that he found his satisfaction. Then he sells his own car and bike to treat the little girl. However, the amount was too big, Robin still needed 50k he went to the CEO and requested him for the money. The CEO was shocked to hear the story and give him 50k. In the end, Robin managed to get the amount of money he needs as he was very happy because he found his satisfaction by saving a girl. Then he started to think more about other kids who were suffering as well from other diseases. He said that I found this much satisfaction by saving her. What would happen If I save every single one who is suffering from a disease.

While doing this, something I might worry about is how the unit-3 will go in a join of 3 classes? And how we will convert stories into coding since I only have some basic skills in python. Overall I feel it would be tough to create stories through python but looking forward to how this unit will go!!!

Hi. You have the makings of a good IF story because you’ve given Robin several places he can make different decisions and go onto another branching path. Remember, too, that these are only supposed to be 3-5 minutes long in gameplay, so you don’t really need much: just a beginning, inciting incident, some choices, a couple of major branches and their respective ends. You’re on your way.

As for Python and programming, trust Prof Cunningham to lead you through that. All you need to do here for our Unit 3 is create the story and write the text that’s going to be put into Pythong.
