The game I will create will tell the story of a young peasant. One who has lived a very difficult life. The purpose of this game is to encourage people to live a life filled with emotion and pleasure, regardless of the adversity they may have faced. To show people that a cruel reality isn’t a permanent destiny. To encourage people to choose their own path, and to promote the concept of ethics. This game isn’t meant for a very young audience. The true struggles of life typically start to appear for people during adolescence, so this is meant for anyone of that age or older.

Summary : This is a poor teenagers story. As I mentioned previously, this is a teenager that has faced many obstacles during his upbringing. A young man who has never had anyone other than his mother. His father abandoned his mother which is what caused her to become a misanthrope. This boy (Nathan Reed) lives in a village on the outskirts of the country. A village with a difficult geography and infertile soil. Both Nathan and his mother face heavy discrimination because of their social class in the village. The noble’s mercilessly target them. Because of this his mother has been trying to bring her son up in a way in which he’d develop into a minanthrope as well. However this simply is the furthest thing from Nathan’s character. He is a passionate, and loving soul that longs for human bonding even if he doesn’t know it yet. On one fateful night his mother is injured in the mines and is partially paralyzed. This forces Nathan to enter the only profession that is willing to take him. He becomes a soldier in the hopes of providing for his family and fighting for a valiant cause. However he soon learns that the nation the people have grown to worship, is one led by ruthless and devious tyrants. He learns this when he is left behind on a mission and meets a woman who changes his perspective on life. She begs for his aid, as she feels a strong need to protect her people. He hesitates because he has led a selfish life but decides to fight the country. He becomes a rebel and eventually obtains a super natural power, or piece of technology (haven’t decided for sure yet) that gives him the opportunity to upset the world order. It is a long journey but one that he willingly embarks on

 

While pondering what to write about I created this story thinking it was going to be a long one.  A story that is too long and complex may be hard to work with, as I only have basic level python skills. I may need to adjust my story so I can actually make it into a game.
