In the beginning of the semester, I didn’t really know how I was going to do because everything was online. Not just English class but I really thought I wasn’t going to do well in my other classes because since I was learning new material I thought I wouldn’t really learn it as good. But now in the present, it wasn’t that bad. I learned way more than I thought I was going to, and not only that, I have mostly A’s and B’s in my classes. I’m really happy I was able to survive this semester and hopefully I will be able to do the same next semester. What I really learned this semester is to do your own research and teach yourself. I’m saying this because sometimes some classes like math didn’t really teach me the way I understood so I had to take matters into my own hands and teach myself. This 100% helped me because I was able to do really good in my exams and at the end it was really worth it. But yea, I’m really proud of myself and If I really spend time and do my own research and learn something on my own instead of relying on my teacher I could really make it far.
About
This OpenLab site accompanies Jackie Blain’s ENG 1101 course for Fall 2020 which is part of the First Year Learning Community “Game On, Python!” The Course Materials are here (Assignments, Resources, How-to Videos) as well as the Class Discussion blogs. We’re all about writing in multiple digital and analogue situations, for multiple purposes… and investigating and talking about issues by asking questions. Lots of questions.
