My first experience with computers was when I was like 7 years old I remember that I always use to go to the third floor of my house where lived a man who liked to play videogames and almost every day I went to his house to watch him play until one day he let me use his computer to play and I remember that moment like if it was yesterday, I didn’t know how to do anything but I was happy at that moment and I think I will never forget it.
I don’t really have an event that motivates me to study Computer Science, since I was little I always wanted to know how everything works I remember that I used to watch a lot of documentaries about how the universe was formed and how life came to earth and a thousand topics more, I was a super curious boy and that led me to try to know how computers work and what’s behind all I see in the screen. I never had someone who guides me through computers I learned everything I know by my self, watching videos in youtube or looking for what I needed in google but I never give up when I had a problem I remember that when I tried to install a game and It did work I used to watch like 10 videos until I found a solution to the problem I had and sometimes because of the experience I have solving problems on my computer I even come out with a solution by my self.
I enjoyed reading this story becasue at some point it somehow relates to my first experience with technology. Growing up we all at some point wanted to explore and see how things worked around and how technology itself surround us and how we all used it. I have this one question though, I wanted to know what type of game you first played when he gave you his computer and how was it like when you finally seen that something you have watched someone play you are now finally about to explore it yourself?
The game that I was playing was Crysis and the experience whats really bad because I didn’t know how to play
I loved this story no lie. My first experience with technology also dealt with video games. One thing that Jumped out was the connection with video games and computer science because it had correlational. This story made me feel like a kid because I remember my first computer game which was sonic. One thing I would like to know is what was your first game system and game, also, what is your favorite game at the moment?
