Muriel Cooper, The MIT Design Department, Cambridge, Massachusetts, 2017
I really like the design of the Muriel Cooper book cover. The reason I like it a lot is just the simplicity of it and it pretty much to the point since it’s about the famous Graphic Designer, Muriel Cooper. It even manages to be a very successful design, having the very bold purple as the cover color and the light purple to show Muriel Cooper’s name while also having the color orange as the letters for the blurb. Plus, I really like the structure of the cover as well. With it having a pouch, you’ll see her first name when you just look at the cover, but her last name when you pull the cover open.
