Beekman Tower by stefon gordon

New York City is full of tall skyscrapers that tower over the streets and residents. One skyscraper that I admire is the Beekman Tower by Frank Gehry. This building is one of the tallest residential buildings in the world. This tower is 870 feet tall and is located just south of the Brooklyn Bridge. The building was completed in 2011 and is the 2^nd building by Frank Gehry in New York City.  My favorite thing of this building is the façade. It is a shiny silver colored stainless steel that reflects the light of the sun as it hits the building. The surface of the façade also has a very unique aspect, it look as if the building is blowing in the wind. I love this because it breaks away from what traditional skyscrapers look like.
