Homework due 12/7 – Brian Tenecela

My approach to revising my unit 2 annotated bibliography would be to seriously go back and look at the grading rubric that was used in grading my annotated bibliography and start there. Hence, the feedback received back from Professor Annie I would revise my citations through helpful sources such as purdue owl to ensure my citations are correct. From the feedback, I also need to work on my rhetorical analysis as well as the summary of each source. The feedback from my colleagues that I will also apply to my revision is the amount of detail and grammatical errors that can be found within my writing. There is indeed a great amount of revision needed to be done to my writing piece along with word counts for some paragraphs. Overall, I would reference back from the revision suggestions from Professor Annie and work my way from there as well as adding the writing necessary to achieve a more successful annotated bibliography.

Homework 12/5 – Brian Tenecela

When I decided to revise my unit 1 writing some of the things I kept in mind where the key points in the assignment. Reaching out to the intended audience and being able to relate to them in that manner as well as making the writing interesting for the audience to read and learn. There were also a several amount of grammatical errors and a few run on sentences that I was able to pick up on and some of which were pointed out by professor Annie. Thanks to her I was able to find the other mistakes and carefully fixed them and inclusively reread the sentences to make sure it was grammatically correct. I also found it very helpful to read over my writing again thoroughly to catch any mistakes and to overall just make sure it was ready to finally re-submit for a chance of a higher grade.

In Class Writing 11.14.23 – Brian Tenecela

One quote from my writing that I feel makes a great impact on my genre of choice writing is very sophisticated and shows the emphasis on the impact of the pandemic on college students. Author Lee states, “A study of college students…noted a disturbed sleeping pattern which aligns both with anxiety and depression. A study that used smartphone-based ecological momentary assessments of anxiety and optimism…Yet another study of college students found a significant decline in physical activity and mental health occurred as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic” (Lee 7). This quote really captures the essence and big impacts that significantly affected students throughout education. Anything that affects by restricting or limiting someone from their choices that pertain to them is really of grave threat. Nobody should not be able to workout or feel like social interaction is bad. COVID-19 really uprose this notion affecting millions of people.
