My plans for re-reading are to cut distractions and to take sections of the reading to read by parts. Distractions like turning off the TV, putting my phone on do not disturb, and working in a silent environment since even music can grab my attention thus losing focus and losing the section I was reading. To read by paragraphs will help enormously because reading nonstop without stopping and jotting or having moments of reflection will make it more likely that you didn’t retrieve any of the context. If I ever find myself still struggling I can also have an audio reader so I can follow along.
