-The platform I would like to publish in is The Washington post. I say this because I believe that a lot of lawyers and government officials read articles on that website.

-The types of articles and media on that website are: sport articles, business and economy articles, news articles, opinion articles, video interviews, documentaries, and more.

-Since the washington post publishes a lot of diverse articles with many different perspectives and topics, this can attract many different audiences. The website provides many different article types in order to attract a broader audience.

-The length of an article depends on the type of article it will be. An opinion article can be around 600 to 1,000 words while a news article can be around 800 words.

-The tone is usually very professional, neutral fact based, and informative. This can change on the type of article.

-The type of diction used is very clear, objective, and formal.

-The authors use evidence to make their points credible and to back up what they are saying. They usually do it in the form of statistics or direct quotations from people who are relevant in to their story. They also use many other sources in order to back up their claims.

-The washington post website is very black and white but the pictures and or videos included at the beginning of articles can be very colorful or dull depending on the topic. For example, an article about war will have a picture of rubble and broken buildings, while an article about sports will have a picture of a famous player or a field.

-I think that this would be a good publication website in order to reach my intended audience because I am trying to reach student lawyers, judges, lawyers, and government officials that make and reform policies. The Washington post has a lot of fact-based informative articles which is the perfect place to bring light to my topic.
