Now that we understand how socialism did not seem practical in Latin America, we can depict what it would be like for the US to be involved in a socialist ideology since the US has a higher population and a lot of issues that incorporate economic relief. While it may have been intended to help the poor and those in need, we also must recall the logical impacts that occurred in other nations and were not so positive for the future of a nation that used to be so prosperous. Again, if you were asked to give away half of your salary to allow the government to make public investments you are not aware of, and you might not even agree with and to equalize the economy amongst the people in your community, would it matter to you as a constituent, taxpayer, and resident?
