I think a good place to get started with your own education narrative would be to start self reflecting. After reading both stories you can see they both talk about what was avoided and how they didn’t like that. They wanted to face the problem that everyone was avoiding it was better to acknowledge what was going on. It’s human nature to want to avoid problems so the best way to start would be for me to reflect on what I might’ve ignored in the past. One major concern I have about writing an education narrative would for it to be the order of events to be incorrect or not well explained. Lucky I am still in school and can somewhat recall my experiences but like the author said time has past and maybe it didn’t all happen the way she explained. However I understand that is the point of having your own education narrative it is to fit my POV so others can see it from my view and understand me.
