When reading the Syllabus i came to the conclusion that this class is fully online without lectures. We will have about two assignments a week where one will be due Monday and the other on Wednesday. One question i have is that are there any other ways to earn points for participation other than completing assignments on time? Also i noticed that majority of our grade is based on participation as it is 30% of our grade. I also noticed that unlike my other classes we don’t have a required textbook.

Hi Sharif,
I will be talking more about “participation” once everyone is comfortable with the OpenLab site. Also, all of the readings for this class are online links (all embedded in the syllabus), which should make things very efficient for you! (Not to mention cost-effective!)
For now, just keep doing what you are doing…which is to say, keep up with the work! Again, I will address the participation aspect of this class very soon.
