Recipe for: Sewing 2 pieces of cloths together

Materials:

Concentration

Saliva

Needle

Clew of thread

Two pieces of cloths

Scissors

Time:

From 15 minutes – 1 hour

Instructions:

  1. First, grab a needle
  2. Next, grab a clew of thread and separate a loose piece of thread from it.
  3. Then, take that line of thread and lick the tip of it with your saliva so that it would be able to easily enter through the needle’s hole.
  4. Enter the thread through the hole and measure the length of how long you want your thread to be.
  5. Cut the thread to your desired length and tie a knot at the end of the thread.
  6. Next, put the two cloths together and put the needle and thread through both of the cloths.
  7. Keep pulling the needle through and out the cloths.
  8. Don’t stay in one place, keep moving along the cloths.
  9. Keep sewing until you get your desired look.

Emoji Poetry

Being in your safe space makes you feel as if you were in heaven;

You can do anything in there like draw, or vibe to your favorite songs.

Your safe space drives your need to express any trapped emotions.

Your safe space can be in your bathtub, or your room, while you eat dumplings and watch penguins play on Animal Planet.

You can dream about anything in your safe space:

You can imagine yourself observing whales in the aquarium on a rainy day.

Or, you can imagine yourself timelessly swimming in the hot sun on the British Virgin Islands.

Your safe space is where you go whenever you feel sad and blue, or small like a mouse.

Your safe space is where you can voice your feelings as loud as you want.

But mostly, your safe space must be pleasant because it’s one of the only places where you’re able to pull yourself together.

Stuck

For an extended amount of time, I was stuck in a house due to the COVID-19 outbreak. I was not able to leave this house, not even for restaurant food.  I felt limited and confined. Schools, and most stores were closed as well. Even churches were closed. I wasn’t able to visit friends either. This era was emotional for me. I remember how I would sit in a room and wonder “when would this all be over?”. Now, I’m elated that I can travel to the store at last. I’m ecstatic that I am allowed  to attend school at least once a week and I’m able to interact with individuals other than the ones I live with. I desire and believe that this rife of COVID -19 would continue to be solved, so that we can resume to a more social life.
