Aug 25: First day of classes

Sept. 20: Literacy Narrative Due (UNIT 1 capstone assignment)

Sept 28*: Library Orientation (on Zoom; conducted by Librarian from the Ursula C. Schwerein Library) *this date is approximate and is subject to Library scheduling

Oct 18–29: One-on-One Conferences with the Professor

Oct 28: Students informed of Mid-Term Grades
(P=Passing work; BL= Borderline; U=Unsatisfactory; SA=Stopped Attending)

Nov 1: Annotated Bibliography Due (UNIT 2 capstone assignment)

Dec 8: Multi-Modal Creation and New Genre Adaptation Due (capstone assignment UNIT 3)

Dec 15: Final Portfolio Due (writing a Final Reflection and assembling your major work from UNITS 1 through 3 (edited and revised) into a single document – a “Portfolio” — completes the requirements for UNIT 4)

Finals Week: There is NO Final Exam for this Class. (Your Final Portfolio takes the place of an exam)

Dec 27: Students informed of Final Semester Grades on CUNYFirst
