My favorite writing piece was the Unit 2 assignment because I took a lot of time and notes to make sure I wrote the best explanation for the film without leading away from the message I wanted to express from the film. I feel like My work from units 2 and 3 are better than the once I did at the beginning of the semester because I was passionate about them and they actually meant something instead of just a due date. My writing technique changed into not just writing anything that sounds good but what makes the story make sense. I feel like what I learned a little bit was that a good story doesn’t leave the listener or reader speechless but instead leaves them in competition to top it with their own experience/story.
