During my internship today I designed barbershop logos and a flyer for hair products. Ron and I are the opposite designers. He likes to design everything with effects and I am a more simpler designer. Ron must’ve forgot that I did photography because he took pictures for the hair products flyer and they were just terrible. When I saw them I asked him who took these pictures he said “I did, why they’re bad”. I said ” No they’re terrible”. Then I asked him what did he used and he told an iPad. I told him he should’ve told me to bring my camera because I would’ve re-shot them. I still had to work with what I had. I didn’t like that during that project, he didn’t communicate with me. I think quality is very important and a client shouldn’t be given anything less than quality. I learned that you should always allow yourself time to perfect any design. Ron is always designing things by himself so I think he didn’t realize he had someone else to depend on. From this experience I learned that Quality is Perfection!
