Working at Go Print Art has been an experience in itself. We design with music on to stay comfortable at work. It helps ease my mind a little. When there is complete silence it is awkward because when we become frustrated with a design we make remarks to ourselves. So sometimes we hear curse words when we become frustrated. Working with Go Print Art, I have learned more printing terms such as 4×1 and 4×4. Once I bought my Macbook Pro a couple of weeks ago I didn’t know about Air Drop. I learned about Air Drop today. It’s very convenient for file sharing and I like it. I am also learning how to answer the phones and talk to clients. Even though this isn’t related to my major it is a great asset to learn. You will always need to know how to talk to people and make them feel comfortable over the phone. I’ve also learned how to use a tone of confidence because when clients are listening to you, you don’t want to sound unsure about anything. Confidence about your work must be heard in your voice. Another thing that you must have on hand with any job or career is prices. You must know how much you’ll charge for different quantities at all times. There are customers who are impatient, but savvy. I am learning marketing strategies as well. I think it’s a great essential to have if you want to continue being successful.
