The field event that I attended was Meet the Pros at City Tech. The guest speaker was Fred Gerantabee. He is the Director of Creative Technology for one of the world’s largest creative marketing agencies. He works at The Distillery at Grey. I found this event very useful to my career because he spoke about the things that  needs to be done when Advertising.  He spoke about story telling, experience, advocacy and selling stuff. Story telling deals with channels. Experience deals with technology. Social media is a way for consumers to talk back and selling equals conversion. As a graduate who possesses a creative degree Fred said “it is part of your job to know what business you’re in”. in our portfolio we must show how we think, diversity and passion. I learned a lot from this event.
