A collaborative  project that I’ve worked on with my senior director was a flyer for a Women Empowerment Dinner.  This assignment was a bit tough for me because there wasn’t anything that she wanted in particular. Even though we worked together conceptually, we designed two separate flyers at two different approaches. Even though my design didn’t get picked, it taught me that a simple design  isn’t always the best for empowerment events. What wasn’t successful was a simple design. She wanted something more like a party for women.
