Active Minds

During NYCCT Active mind’s event I found this poster.

Then I went to the ladies room and laughed when I saw this one.

Live Well Session #3

Once I completed the 3rd session it was really nice to know, that I was in the active stage and managing my stress levels.  Live well opened my eyes to try to eat better during our crazy busy life.  Exercise is still an issue for me but I look forward to walking more after this semester is over.

Live Well II

I enjoy going to the live well site, it reminds me that I need to eat better, exercise and live better.  In this second stage I am under maintenance which is okay but I can work harder.  I went grocery shopping instead of getting chips I purchased grapes, bananas, blueberries and oranges.  When I want a snack I can reach out for the fruits also my boys can have some fruits instead of chips.  I started walking the dog for thirty minutes instead of 10 or 15 minutes so it’s a start.  Hopefully, since the weather is getting better we can do longer walks and go to the park.  This will also help to release stress.

Live well-exercise 1

I usually try to make my daily 10,000 steps, but sometime I fall short.  I am working harder to stay on track and eat better.  I also enjoy my fitbit its a wonderful tool to track your steps, your water and food intake on a daily bases.  It also monitors your hours of sleep, I am a horrible sleeper between working, school and housework i get to bed really late to get up early the next morning. I know its not healthy there is not enough hours in the day for all that I do.  After  reading the articles and answering the questions, I will try my best to focused on staying health.

LiveWell

After completing the LiveWell session one,  I realized I can commit to fit exercising into my daily schedule without stressing on how these 30 minutes I could have been doing other things on my daily to do list.  I will try my best to eat better, stress less and exercise daily.
