Nuha Abdulla , Le Guin Critique

I enjoy reading Le Guin’s ”The Wife’s Story” when I was reading this first paragraph, I was confused when she said about walking in the forest after hunting. But an unexpected twist on the story. She’s a wolf, and her husband is a werewolf but half-human. I was curious about how she didn’t know something or followed her husband and waited so long to find it. Also, a question to Le Guin doesn’t a werewolf have a soulmate? Because when I read fiction stories about a werewolf, they have soulmates, and they smell if they are fully wolfed or not. I enjoy reading this story, although it was confusing but thrilling.

I’m not sure about werewolves having soul mates, but that’s an interesting idea. I do agree and wonder why the wife was not curious enough to find out sooner. She had created a family with the guy, and she just found out about his true form.

Wow, I definitely didn’t catch on to the wife being a wolf and the husband being half human. Now that I think about it, it makes so much sense.
