The First Day by Edward P. Jones was a story about how she spent one of her first days at school when she was younger. One thing that immediately stood out to me when reading the story was how much detail was in the story. Not only was Jones very descriptive when describing the environment (such as clothing, how the school looked, etc), she was also very descriptive about her feelings towards everything. For example, she spoke about her neighbors, her mother, and how she felt about her first day of school.

Office Hours: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 11:30 AM – 12:30 PM. I’ll be available through Zoom and will send an invitation via email that you should keep all semester. Try to join my meeting at the start of the hour, not at the end—since I may be talking to other students or have another appointment after the hour is up. If those times don’t work with your schedule, we can schedule a different time. This means you’ll have to schedule an appointment in advance. I suggest you have multiple times in mind, since your schedule may not mesh with mine!

I agree with the detail with the story the author used. She was very descriptive of her the things she wore that day. I wouldnt be able to remember something to that level.
I agree because she did mention details that some people might have issues remembering from such a young age.
