Far away in the Nalhegrande galaxy remains two ships eternally locked in a stalemate. The Ringalla, owned by Eliteo Cruz as white as white can be. This bulbus ship spanning two floors with a giant half ring from top to bottom could hold over 400 members of Eliteo’s crew. Then there’s the Galil, owned by Dillian T. Gopherman. A small slim ship dark as night. Perfect boomerang shaped wings for soaring through the galaxy at high speeds alongside his small crew of 4. Some say it was a big battle between two gangs. Some say it was a small war between the government. Well that’s where everyone is wrong. It was simply a miscalculation. An event gone wrong if you will. What was to be a battle between two rivals was cut short due to the federations negligence. Now only our two captains know what really went down.

Amongst each planets government there lies the biggest “man” of them all. The Intergalactic federation force. Tasked with the ultimate goal of uniting all planets they are also in control of making sure everyone everywhere was happy. Although a tough task to handle alone they developed the skyfarer program. This would allow anyone from any planet to test and become a leader of their very own crew to then acquire tasks from any citizens or higher ups. With over 22 planets to keep happy work ranges from simple delivery jobs to the eradication of local monsters. This very program was where our two captains met.

Eliteo Cruz, a lad with a heart of gold eyes set on helping any and everyone he can. He had a curious trait to bring out the bright side in anyone. Including the very cold and focused Dillian T. Gopherman. Heart made of steel he was set on helping the galaxy using nothing but his strength. Despite the uncanny name, Gopherman was indeed from a planet of gopher-like people. Letting his pride get in the way he accepted help from no one. Not even the partner assigned to him for his very first mission could get him to slow down or not go off alone. This ended up sparking a whole fight between the two. Too bad for him Eliteo ended up winning and sparked an entire rivalry with the lad. They would go on to become great friends often choosing to get paired with one another whenever the chance came up and turned it into a mini competition. This lasted all the way up until their final test leaving the score at 99 to 99 before they were able to establish their own crews and going their separate ways until a fateful day.

It would be around august in human time. Just in time for the triannual “Dance of Demons.” An event held for only the committed of crews. It serves as a little break from serving the galaxy. All crews compete in inhabitable planets full of monsters in order to obtain points for a galaxy wide leaderboard. As fate would have it our two rivals would end up on the same planet. The true goal was the red hare, a horse like creature as big as you and I, long flowing red mane able to conjure up flames as far as the eye can see. He was a fast and ferocious foe…Perhaps too ferocious for your two captains. but that’s a tale we’ll have to continue tomorrow.

“Huh. what. Wha. HAWAWA! finish the story!!” A child yells out to a smiling old man.

“hawawhat? it’s time for you to sleep.” he says tucking the child in bed.

“You can’t just end it like that. It’s not fair!

“Oh quiet you. we can finish tomorrow it’s already late. I’ll go a little longer tomorrow telling all that happened to us.”

“Us?” the child said confusingly tilting his head.

“I mean Eliteo and Gopherman of course! now off to bed with you. Up any later than 8 and no story time for you.” The old man chuckles leaving the room.
