- Talk about my discussion: What questions do you have about plot in memoir or other genres?
WRITE:
- Homework: Journal Assignment 2: Write about a time you’ve felt you were anonymous (either by choice or not). Post it under Journals and title it: Your Full Name, Journal 2. Due at 11:59 PM on Wednesday, February 24.
- Bring a NEW memoir piece (you can use either Journal 1 or 2 or anything you’ve written that would be considered a memoir) for your Cohort to respond to on Thursday. Before class on Thursday, February 25, post it under Memoir and title it: Your Full Name, Memoir 2.

DISCUSS/WORKSHOP:
- Discuss giving/receiving constructive criticism.
- Workshop your Cohort’s Memoir 2 pieces.
- After Thursday’s class, fill out the “Formal Critique Template” (which is under “Files” in the Course Profile) for each of your Cohort members. Remember, write four things you enjoyed and ask at least four questions! Email the critiques to your Cohort and me (creative.writing.citytech@gmail.com) by Friday, February 26 at 11:59 PM.
- Homework: Read Myriam Gurba’s “Pendeja, You Ain’t Steinbeck: My Bronca with Fake-Ass Social Justice Literature” by Tuesday’s class.
