My computer is my object because it lets me unwind. It’s one of the few objects that make me feel at home. It feels like something is missing if I don’t use it daily. From working half the day to doing homework or attending classes I end my day using my computer. I have had this computer for about two years now. It’s special because It’s the first one I’ve built. I made it for playing video games but helps with doing other tasks.

I love to play video games and my computer lets me do this all day and every day. I know most people find this bad, but it turns a bad day into a good one.

I play mostly mainstream games but only play games to reach the top 1% or just to have fun with friends. I play first-person shooter games and MOBA’s (multiplayer online battle arena) games. Not only that, but I am equally good at both but MOBA’s will always feel better to me.

There are times when I’m not doing good and think a break is needed. Sometimes I feel like I’m just too tired to get on and do anything. On days like this I let my computer collect dust while I recovery.

My brother introduced me to a game named League of Legends. I played so many games up to this point, but I’ve forgotten everything so far. This was the only game that I can remember where it all started. My love for computers branched from this game.
I tried playing games on laptops, but they weren’t enough to run high-end games or run games smoothly. Computers although not portable felt like a tank. I dropped it in one spot and I come back to it every day. It was able to do anything I wanted from it. If I ran into a problem with my computer I could try to fix it myself. Computers feel like Legos to me now. The small parts cost a lot more, but I can piece them together with ease.

My computer should be able to run perfectly fine for another 3 years, but I wouldn’t mind setting up liquid cooling to make it look cooler. Its something that I don’t think I need and really want to research on how to properly set up. I don’t want to waste unnecessary money on something I don’t need but kinda want.

The next time I will work on my computer is at the end of the year. I plan to have a new place to live and want to give everything the new feeling. I’ll be upgrading parts that need to be fixed or upgraded and give it a new feel and look.

My computer or computer setup is my sanctuary.
