Literature of this nature is not something I would read on the regular but âwhatever happened to_____â by Anonymous, is something I would definitely continue to read. I appreciate the mother character because it reminds me of my mom for some reason based on how hard working she is and the struggles she has to face day in and day out. I also enjoyed this reading because it was the female perspective on life. Anonymous spoke about things you only hear about, so it was powerful to read the story and understand he struggles from how descriptive it was. I also enjoyed her style of writing as far when certain things were written in bold because it made me realize there was a message behind it and made me read in between the lines. Ultimately I enjoyed the female empowerment aspect of the story, especially how she wanted to express that she wasn’t here to be someone’s slave and she want to be her own person and follow her dreams. The only question I had after reading this was, “what was the daughters perspective on all of this and how does she feel about it?”.

Office Hours: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 11:30 AM – 12:30 PM. Iâll be available through Zoom and will send an invitation via email that you should keep all semester. Try to join my meeting at the start of the hour, not at the endâsince I may be talking to other students or have another appointment after the hour is up. If those times donât work with your schedule, we can schedule a different time. This means youâll have to schedule an appointment in advance. I suggest you have multiple times in mind, since your schedule may not mesh with mine!

I totally agree that her writing style was very unique and persuasive as a reader. it was like, the sentence in questions was the attention grabber, and it did grab my attention. Another thing I really liked in her writing style that she included small conversation in the quotation which I really liked.
I agree with enjoying the female perspective. I’m not one to degrade someone based on their gender or identity but having read this certainly opens my eyes to the greater extent of what this can do.
I definitely agree about the story being very descriptive. The message was clear and the events being described in detail was heavy but it made the meaning behind the message much better. Especially how it was following the perspective of a woman.
I agree with your point of view on how the author reminds you of your mom and I can relate to that because I feel like my mom takes care of many responsibilities and she still finds a way to look out for us. The point that the author conveys can relate to many female writing and I enjoyed how you shared your connection with the author.
