This family got a table next to us. The parents looked like they were in their 50’s. They were eating with their two daughters. The youngest one looked like she was 18 years old and the older one was like 21 years old.

They all took their time to see the menu and decide what they wanted to order. At all the time the mother and father were telling the girls to order whatever they wanted. They all shared appetizers and drank water.

I could hear them talking about how college was going for the younger girl. She sounded excited and happy about this new chapter in her life. Also, this family was open to each other. They were talking about history, politics and college. They were so happy.
