At a young age, my goal was to collect mangas. However, my mom couldn’t afford to buy me one. When it was my birthday my family would give me money as a gift, and I would save it in a tiny cup as my “Savings” to buy my first manga. The first time that I bought my first manga was in 2013. The first manga that I’ve owned was the first volume of death note and soul eater. However, after that, I couldn’t continue to buy them because I didn’t have enough money.
I recently got a job, and that was the time that I’ve used my first check to buy my collection. I know it wasn’t a wise choice but it’s something that I’ve always wanted to do. It feels nice to start something that you’ve always wanted to collect whether it’s expensive or not. After all, I deserve it because of my hard work.
